As did all 200s here in Europe before '86, the 200 was never called 5000
here. The type 44 200 was introduced in late '83 I think.

Again, standard fare here.

The door handles are standard for '87. The wheel wells are the only
non-standard bit.

I think they're either 15x7 or 15x8.

I've heard that Audi had some prototypes running around for the V8, looking
like normal type 44 200s in everything but the wider wheelwells. There used
to be one here in Holland, so the story goes. The V8 was introduced in
'88, 200q20v came in '89 (all European dates).
I have The Living Daylights on video and intend to capture a few stills
from it for the relevant section on my site.
