The NW Alfa Romeo Club is having their last driving school of the
year on Saturday, October 21 at Bremerton Raceway. This event is open to ALL
CARS, and that includes your daily driver Dodge Neon (which, in fact, makes
a great track car.)

This school is for people who are new to driving at the track, and while it
is aimed at folks who would like to get started in this sport as a hobby,
it's also a REALLY GOOD school for your teenagers, and for those in your
family whom you feel need better car-control skills. It's also HALF- PRICE
for women and for teenagers! (Come on! We need more girls out there!) Plus,
this is a super-fun bunch of people! You'll have a great day, and you don't
even need to be a member of the club in order to participate in this event!

If paying by October 18, regular price (for guys over 19) is $70 per
car/driver, with second driver/same car $50. Women and teens (15 yrs with
driver's permit, up to 19 yrs) are HALF PRICE. After October 18, the price
goes up to $80. These prices include lunch.

Tech inspection is at 7:30 a.m., followed by ground school. You'll rotate
through different stations -- including skid pad, slalom, and braking
exercises in the morning. In the afternoon -- depending on the number of
cars -- you'll do an autocross or learn the SCCA-layout track. There may
even be a handling oval. Please make sure your car is in good condition even
though it will be tech inspected.

You can pay by Visa, cash or check! Please contact the NWARC Treasurer, Jay
Wardle (in Seattle) at jaywardle at prodigy.net to register. Or you can contact
me and I'll put you in touch with Jay.
