The following is cut from a PSCR press release about the happenings in
San Jose tomorrow (Wednesday, Oct. 11):
"In an unusual fashion, cars and drivers from the American Le Mans
Series will be on display at Cesar Chavez Park in the major market of
San Jose, Calif., as part of the Mini Le Mans of San Jose on Wednesday,
Oct. 11.
At least eight race cars from the ALMS and some of the Laguna Seca
weekend support series will drive around the park on San Joses West and
East Market Streets. The laps, timed to hit the outside crowd during
lunchtime, will begin at 12:15 p.m. Following the parade laps, ALMS
drivers will sign autographs."
So, if you're driving through San Jose and a R8 blows you off the road
you really aren't hallucinating ;-)

making an 8 year old child a fan for life at PLM):

Hope to see some of you at Laguna Seca this weekend! (Wish I could pop
over to SJ for lunch tomorrow too :(...)
