Dont need to press anything out if your just doing the axles.... the axle
will slide right out of the hub... remove the innner side 1st and pull it to
the other side of the car... presto...IF you cant get the inner side to drop
down... then pull the strut from the ball joint.. remove the tie rod from
the strut... and pull the strut away from the side of the car and you will
have the slack to pull the axle out....

an alignment is NOT needed if you do not change the adjustments on your tie
rods.. or on the top of the strut towers... and you shouldnt need to touch
either of those...

this is very handy for popping the strut out of the ball joint....

not a bad idea but theres not much that you have to remove... the bolt
through the ball joint... and the 6 bolts on the inner cv joint...
the actual boot replacement isnt hard either its just really messy... there
is a clip on the inside of the cv joint... get that off and the joint will
slide off the axle with a little persuasion... (tap lightly with a hammer...
using wood or a brass drift to drive it..)clean out the joint COMPLETELY...
and repack with LOTS of grease... put the boot on... slide the joint on and
put the clip back in... put clamps on the joint ... and your done...clean
your hands... and put it all back together... should take about an hour and
a half your 1st time.. .maybe a little more... just have plenty of rags to
wipe your hands or some rubber gloves like doctors use.. very nice in
keeping your hands clean...
