The records often end with the end of the warranty just because people stop
using dealers at that point, but Roger Galvin's V8Q had comprehensive
records stretching two years past warranty end.<<
It may have changed here in the states, but when I got my printout from the
dealer (about 4 years ago), even scheduled dealer maintenance paid for by
previous owner was listed, two years after the V8 was out of warranty.
Your logic is sound, chances are that people with the resources to buy the
higher end Audi's, probably keep going to the dealer even after the warranty
has expired.
BTW-anyone know where the de-coder can be found? The link I had to it is
dead.
