Start the turbo conversion!

Well I just started dismantling the 5kcs last night.
After many months of pondering which route to take,
I'm going with Javad's method of retaining the stock
fuel and electrical system in the 90. I've talked to
many people that have had good luck with after-market
fuel enrichment systems different types of cars. My
goal is to make the engine as mechanically
uncomplicated as possible. I may go to a full EFI
system in the future, but money is an issue right now.
I acquired an additional IM, EM, IC, turbo, and
wastegate at the local Pull'N'Save for $29! Hell I
have enough stuff to put a turbo on the car without
buying the 5Kcs if I was to use my stock block. I
plan to do the usual refreshing of the engine, new CQ
clutch, and drop it in the 90 without the additional
injectors for now. I'll have the additional IM fitted
with all the injectors at a later date/next big
paycheck. I'll have to run low boost until then, but
at least I can drive the car.
I am kind of parting out the 5kcs, but I do need it to
roll, and I want to keep all the electrical and fuel
system till I'm done with the conversion(just in
case). This would be a good car for someone looking
to do an auto to manual conversion since it is a 5
spd. It's in Boulder, CO.
