engine/turbo theory question

I agree with Javad, both turbo cars that I have owned would get the turbo
housing glowing. This is with stock boost levels, and mild to moderate
driving. Of course they glowed a bit brighter once the boost was cranked up,
and my right foot firmly planted :-) Ahh, can't wait for the turbo to go in
my car.... never thought I'd have withdrawals like this....

BTW the two cars in question are a '87 5kcstq (KKK K26), and a '83 Renault
Fuego 1.6T (Garrett T3)...
BBTW What good is a turbo, if yer foot aint in it???  80)
