snow tires again

I just put the NRW-H's (215/55-16) on my S4. So far, I'm impressed with
their wet and dry performance, although of course they don't corner like 17"
SP8000's. They also ride well and are quiet and stable at 80mph. Nokian
claims 50k miles for this tire, but I will believe it when I see it. Much
of the winter here is spent on dry highways at speed, so decent dry
performance and wear is important for a winter tire. No chance to try them
in snow yet.

I've never tried the Michelin's, but everyone I've spoken to who has them
seems to like them. The last set of Dunlop Winter Sport (H-rated) tires I
had were also good in the dry, but they were noisy.
