I also can comment on this stuff. I used it on the
front drivetrain of my Dorf F-250 pickup. I read
about the UV deal, but didn't topcoat it as I figured
it was under the truck. Well maybe 8 or 9 years and
200k + miles later and no rust! Zero! It hasn't
chipped or anything. It is hard like ceramic or
something. The only thing I noticed is that in some
places layers peel off, like if it's coated over
itself, the upper layer comes off. Otherwise it's
still shiny and on there! BTW, I think I paid even
more, like maybe $40 or something. I thought at the
time that I was getting ripped. Like snake oil or
something, but a bodyshop/restorer whose work I really
respected recommended it.
