Bridge Day - NAC

Hi Y'all,

This coming Saturday (10 AM - 3 PM, also peak fall color time) is our big 
local (southern West Virginia) event of the year.  One side of "our" bridge 
over the New River Gorge is closed to vehicles and opened for foot 
traffic.  Typically there are anywhere from 100K to 250K people present 
each year.  Included in this throng will be several hundred BASE jumpers 
who will each make numerous jumps from the bridge.  If you happen to be in 
the region it might be interesting for you to see it in person.  If not, 
there will likely be some limited TV coverage (CNN perhaps).  If you happen 
to catch a story about BASE jumpers jumping from a 900 foot high bridge the 
pictures are from my area - about 4 miles from my home.
