You are in a maze of little twisting passages, all different

Peter -

That was probably from my constantly (and automagically) rotating
signature file. It read:
You are in a maze of little twisting passages, all different.

As cited, it was from Zork I, an excellent game from Infocom. I do believe
that they released it into the public domain some years ago, along with
other Zorks.

FYI, there is a standardized game language out there that you can create
your own games with. There are compilers for just about any platform, and
there are players for just about every single platform
(ie. Win,Un*x,Palm, etc.) I've written one game that was based on our
office layout here at work, and it was pretty funny.

let him sit on a hot stove for a minute and it's longer than any hour.
