Great weekend for the R8s, not so great for my type $$

Now may be the time to consider doing the V8 style
trunk lid struts mod (similar to the hood arrangement) and
get rid of those hokey springs. There was a writeup on
that some years ago. Maybe it's even on Scott M's web site.
