Hi Patrick. That is exactly what I did, except that I used rubber high
pressure fuel injection fuel line instead of stainless braided. One
thing I found though was that when you are wiggling the line around to
cut it off and make room for the splice, it ends up springing a leak
further down. So what I did was get a steel brake line long enough to
run the length of the car and spliced it at the front and back. This
took out the existing leaks and any impending leaks as well. HTH
