torsen trannies

- I was wondering if someone could tell me, or point me towards information 
of, when the audi transmissions started coming with torsen center diffs, and 
correspondingly when audis began torsen rear diffs.  I am interested in 
putting in a torsen center diff tranny into my ur q/20v/2.5L.  What cars do 
I look for when sourcing this trans (and rear diff/housing) for my swap?  
Does anyone know if the rear diff setup will work?
