Large frame? Orange color? From Harbor Freight?

By now I usually can just hold the part with my off
hand. Finding the right size sleeves to press/receive
the parts is a big deal. By now I have a good
assortment of bearing shells, large sockets, pipe
segments, etc. You can rig something up to hold the
other end of large pieces. The best is an adjustable
work support, like for wood working, but anything you
can stack up to the right height will work. Try to
get everything lined up really close, then you can
pinch it with 1-2 pumps of the jack with your finger
instead of the pipe. Once you get the arrangement
pinched in place, you can make some final alignment
adjustments before you really put the pressure to it.
Look in the Bentley sometime at all the press adapters
they have for every different operation. IMO/E
gathering a good assortment of these is the biggest
deal. Also just getting used to using the press.

Good luck, and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it
