We spend the weekend working on the 86, 5K. We have spark, the cold
start value is working correctly.
We're running out of ideas. The thing that I don't understand is we can
take the plugs out and put alittle gas in the
cylinders and the car still doesn't fire. Could it be a problem with
the ignition or fuel injection control untis???
If a control unit goes bad can it screw up the spark to fire at the
wrong time???? Any ideas would be helpful??
The fuel injection air control valve seems to be ok. Lifts easy. The
only thing we haven't done is pulled the fuel
injectors but if the engine doesn't even fire I don't think that 's
it?? Is the cold fuel jet the only thing that puts gas to the engine
before it fires???
Is there a relay or something that might be stopping the engine from
running????? Thanks Todd.....
