200 quattro drive noises

Hello All,

Could anyone please advise me as to whether the slight
clunk I hear from the rear diff of my 200 quattro is
serious? It is most audible when I drive off in first,
and I am not sure whether it is one or both of the
half shafts or drive shaft connections to the diff. It
could also be an internal problem with the rear diff??

My brother's 90 quattro does not make this sound at
all, so I am a little concerned. Has anyone struck
similar problems? Should I be worried? Any advice
would be appreciated.
