Disappointment for the BMWCCA school - GT news...

Car will not be finished - my fears are realized.  My mechanic simply didn't 
have enough time to put the car together, so results from the much 
anticipated cam swap / head freshening will wait another week - and another 6 
months until the next driver's school.  By then, the car should be really 
cranking.  I hope.  In the meantime, I get to drive the 924S race car at the 
track, quite a hoot indeed by itself - at least I'll be able to keep up with 
those pesky E36's in a straight line :-).  I'll update you guys Saturday 
night when I return - thanks for all the good lucks, to everyone who sent 
them - the car will be great, I'm sure, but only on the road for the time 
being...
