1987.5 Coupe GT trip computer, other questions...

On my 1987.5 Coupe GT, what is the "avg mpg" supposed to be telling me? When I compute the
mpg I got after filling up, it's about 24 mpg. The computer usually reads 19 mpg. What's
up?

Also, my clutch pedal is squeaking and sticking. How do you lube it?

Lastly, what do you lube the solenoid shaft in the starter with? It's not disengaging
properly? Or do you just clean it up and replace a spring?
