Hi. I am in need o' some BTDT advice.
My '87.5 CGT sometimes pings on acceleration at low RPM. The timing is
set
per Bently, and the basic idle mix is recently adjusted for minimum
regulator current at idle. Plugs & wires are relatively new, and
compression is nearly as new. I always run high octane gas. The car runs
great otherwise. And I have no fault codes.
Is this a symptom of a failed knock sensor (in spite of no fault code)?,
and how do I test the Knock sensor? What else should I check?
