audi 10v turbo in a VW van?

The Audi motor fits in the Vanagon just fine.  These conversions have been
done.
Kennedy makes an adapter and VW of SA builds them from the
factory.(longitudinal).

Is the Eurovan I5 smaller than the Audi I5?  It's the same block.
