This may be one of those odd phased change deals.  My
late 89 200q has the bolt axles and stepped bearings. 
Another question is: I have various strut housings
from Type 44's in the garage.  Different years, some
5k, 100, and the 200's.  Some have 2 retaining rings,
some 1, and some none.  All have the same part # on
the face of the housing, and otherwise appear
identical.  Any ideas?
