Right: Quattro's are not ment for drag racing - but
if it is your day'ly driving, you enjoy a fast acceleracing car.
My 200 QT Avant IA 277Hp at 1750 kg loaded = 3850 lbs have recently
been on the drag strip Danish Nationals.
http://www.ndcd.dk/
They opened a new class High Tech for 4, 5 and 6 cyl non US cars.
We were doing Pro starts (no warning after stagging)
Reaction .472; 60 feet 2.109;
1/8 ET 9.387 @ 120.8 km/h
1/4 ET 14.632 @ 148.4 km/h
I compete against a Ford 2.0 Sierra 380 Hp + 50 Hp NOS
but first 150 meter I was ahead of him with better reaction and 0-60 feet
They even fired a CO2 fire extinguisher aginst his intercooler before start
http://www.eurodrag.com/eventclasses.asp?event=73
How: New Sachs Racing 570 Nm Pressure plate
Homebreew ochtane booster 98 ochtane -> 104
Staging @ 4000-4500 rpm
But I was a bit disapointed:
My G-Tech Pro claimed 14.15 @ 161 km/h
Too optimistic.
BTW:
A just out of the box Mustang was runing 16.32 @ 126 km/h
