Turbo oil return line wet

The return line is not under much pressure, so it won't burst, but will
empty the oil pan in a short time while driving. I replaced my lower hose,
which was actually fine, b/c it's a very sturdy item; it's made of only
metal, no rubber. It cost me $130 USD from the dealer, the only one who had
the early '84 lines. A week later I had to replace my upper supply line
which is under pressure as it is much smaller. So check your upper line
very carefully. Mine actually had a pinhole in the cast metal fittings, not
in the hose, b/c the fittings were rusty, not the braided stainless steel
hose. After taking off the hose, and holding it up to the sun I could the
tiny hole in the fitting. I'd recommend the same check for your lines. And
make sure it's not your upper line leaking and dripping onto the lower one
b/c the return line is all metal and is pretty robust. Good luck.
