Audi Ur-Q vs. Mustang 308

True.

I'd get the aluminum block 351 from the Motorsports catalog and build
that one up. The 640ci block sounds pretty wild. Can you fit something
that big into a Mustang w/o making it a tube-frame monstrosity?

The 302 w/ heads and a blower was pretty all bolt-on, that's why I
mentioned it. 302 engines are pretty cheap, after all.

Guys, why bother with the 302 anyways?

It's a little motor when you consider the abundant amount of larger ford
small blocks available. If I wanted to stay little I'd put a 351 Windsor in
with a blower on top. If i didn't want a supercharger, I'd say to hell with
ford and bore out a 400 c.i.d. small block chevy to 427.

If I was really going drag racing, I wouldn't bother with a small block
anything. I'd pick up a 640cid aluminum donovan. Strap a big blower on
top, give it carillo rods and whatever else i could blow 50 grand on.

There's no real substitute for cubic inches.
