Hey, I like my turbos! You live 6500 feet up in the sky, losing 20-25% of
your power on a daily basis, and tell me that blowers are bad. :) I kinda
like having one of the faster stock cars available (once you take altitude
into account, of course) on the road...

I have to tell you... my 5.7L V8 (Firebird, making ~ 310bhp) got 30 mpg on
the highway in 6th gear at sea level. Here, 20. The A6 is getting about
28-29 in 6th on leisurely jaunts down the xway (let's say about 85mph).
There's something to be said for small engines when gas costs $1.75 (no
whining from the other side of the pond, please <grin>).

Well, Audi more or less does this. It's called the 4.2L V8. :)
