Drivetrain shutter ?????

I have a 87 5000csqt that I just started noticing what feels like a drivetrain shimmy or shutter pretty much only when in second gear. Here's what happens.... when accelerating hard in gears 1-2 I feel a minor shimmy or shake, and I can't tell what causing the problem. Its more noticeable in 2nd. It only happens between 30 and 35 mph, all other speeds it isn't evident.  FYI.... I have newer continental tires with about 10k on them and all are inflated to the same psi( 35). Also this may be of pertinent info...I had a lose wire on my sensor that goes into the intercooler for quite a while, this problem arose about the same time, I wonder if it may be a fuel mixture thing. In any case I fixed the loose wire and the shimmy seemed to get a little better, but it still happens....HELP!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance
