ng engine/ audi displacement increases

does the ng engine have the two piece inlet manifold that goes over the top
of the engine?
just noticed on some 100 estates that they had this type of manifold and im
sure they were also ng code engines. someone on the list informed me that
theses engines have larger valves, is this true? would this head fit on the
ke code engine?  i know mine has solid lifters and i guess hte ng has
hydraulic tappets, is this conversion easy? and would there be gains??

is the 2.6 eurovan conversion the only one available? this is just an
overstroke right?  what about larger bores, i know on the i5 there is only
around 6-7mm of meat between the cylinders, what is the minimum amount of
meat that needs to be there, bearing in mind that 1mm increase in bore with
an overstroked motor would have a fairly large displacement increase over 5
cylindrs, cant work out what though, my maths head isnt on today.
