what ignition switch for 88 90 quattro?

Hi all, long time no see!
The ignition switch broke on my 88 90 quattro, Chris Semple has one but it is from a 90 Coupe and it has an AIRBAG.....will it fit my car? he can't tell me for sure...can someone help? mine does not have airbag
