16" performance tires on new A4

Your dealer is um, dumb, but most are...wait a sec, my family had a
dealership *DOH!*
A simple check of the tread pattern will show whether or not it's a
performance tire. Also, look on the sidewall at all the letters/#'s/etc.:
is there a "M+S"? This stands for mud & snow (I think?), meaning it's suited
for "all-weather" use. If still not sure, send the list the writing from the
sidewall & we'll tell ya (brand, type, size, etc.)
I'm guessing you have the stock tires from the Audi factory sport package.
You could get by with these in the winter, but I think you'll be much
happier with dedicated winter/ice/snow tires all 'round. Other listers can
inundate you with their tire recommendations. Lotta money up front, but keep
in mind each set of tires will last 2ce as long!
