200 trim removal

Any BTDTs on removing the 4 ring emblem on the trunk of a 200?  I can't see 
any thing from the inside of the trunk.  I pulled one of the license plate 
lites out but my mirror is to large to get in and see anything.
Does the emblem use the standard audi / vw plastic pegs with a matching 
female insert in the trunk?
I'm removing it to paint the trunk so if I need to pry it off with a putty 
knife, its not a big deal.
