interesting sighting

I saw a couple of interesting cars in Mammouth Lakes California.

1, VW Lupo
1, Jetta Wagon (already comfirmed for 2001)
1, Audi A6 TDI
1, Audi S6 (I think)
1, Audi A3
some GTI's TDI
and about 8 Skoda Fabias

They all had test equipment hooked up to them as well as manufactuers
plates. Are we about to see another VW/AUDI product in the states under the 
Skoda name plate? I heard of VW bringing a third make to the US for the low 
end market, that would be either Skoda or SEAT.
