That would make sense, since VW is moving upmarket.
Something's got to fill in the gap. That would be so cool if it were
some little compact cars, that were fitted with the 1.8t motor. I can
see it now, an end of the era of Honda and DSM tuning, with a
bunch of turbo VAG products running around on the streets.
So, then the VW goes up against MBZ, Audi gets pushed up to the
ultra-luxury sector? I say take it up against Bimmer's, and add
some more performance bias to the line.
But yes, I live in Arizona, and I see various new VW's and stuff
being tested. I've seen SUV's with stealth body cladding (like a
body bra, or a ghillie suit for a car) going down the street. So, if
these were just test mules, I wouldn't be surprised.
