Hi All,
Been on the list now for about 6 months, great. Haven't needed to post a question, you guys and gals answered them all already! Anyhow, I did some research on Skoda and the Chech Republic for a class about 4-5 years ago, and Skoda sent a packet of information to me, here in the states about the company history and their line of cars. They all seemed to be nice/basic transportation with VW running gear. The Octavia had the 60 degree V6 as an option. One extra sweet looking little ride was an extra small pickup that had rear facing seats in the bed. Surely would never pass muster for US roads, but neat anyhow. If priced correctly and produced with the right options, they could really make a run in the US, with the likes of Daewoo, Kia and Hyundai.
