Audi vs. Subaru

Perhaps some people would like to know this, but here in South Africa,
Subaru owners challenged new BMW M5 owners as to the fastest/quickest
sedan status. The first set of races were run at altitude and I guess
the turbo'd Subarus won against the n/a M5 cars. Last Sunday this even
repeated itself down at coast level here in Cape Town. A colleague went
to have a look, but the word was out that BMW SA informed all the M5
owners that if they raced they'd have their warranties voided. So now
challenge. The was apparently a E30 325iS with a turbo'd motor putting
out some 300KW, but the Subaru owners prevented it going onto the track
(for fear of embarrasment!). Sad showing from the Scooby owners
preventing anything on the track that'd nail them. But it was a rainy
day and the show from the 4WD Scoobies was apparently awesome. There was
a 22B there, a $70,000 coupe. Only one in South Africa. Rally built
machine ofcourse, so don't know how it could really be compared to a
huge M5 saloon.

Now, I wonder who is going to bring the first RS4 to South Africa. :)
Can't hardly wait. :)
