Alarming situation

I've been struggling for a few days debugging the alarm that's fitted to my
Ur-q. Since the car came back from the spray shop I've been making good the
damage that has been caused to the looms by a number of cowboys who had
'fitted' a number of pieces of ICE, alarms and a phone. Looks like I screwed
up though, because as soon as I powered the alarm it blew a fuse and since
then has operated very strangely. Pulled it apart and have discovered a
blown chip on the main board - ****. Now I've got to find an alarm fitter
who'll fit a device the way that I want it fitted - this means properly, not
by shaving off a piece of insulation, soldering a connection and then
wrapping it all in yards of plastic tape.

I'd fit one myself but so far I can't find an insurance company that will
accept this.

Not happy....
