16' performance tires on new A4

Hi-
My 2c on the snow tires issue. I'm in Rochester NY, A4Q, shod with Potenza RE92's.
I had no problems with the snow last winter (but we only had 2 or 3 bad snows).
I've had it in North NJ for 3 winters too, no problems either.
I don't go out in "snow emergency" conditions, but for most ordinary and
not-so-ordinary driving, standard M+S work fine. I suspect that I would have
problems in severe conditions, but I'm not a doctor or the like who needs to be on
the roads "at any costs."
