Interesting Audi "supercar" article link

congratulate him!  :-)  I've always wished I could have one ... always just
a bit out of reach.  Back in 1977 or so I saw one advertised in the local
newspaper for $25K ... too bad I was a poor student then!  I ended up paying
almost that much for my urq 10 years later!  I see that you can now get
gullwings as kitcars ... I think they go for somewhere around $100K ... ;-)

To get back to the original topic ... the pix of the Audi supercar ... I
guess I can see the historical roots, but personally, that grille does
absolutely nothing for me ... and the rest of it is reminiscent of the Avus
... why couldn't they have simply built that car?  You know what's funny, it
sure seems to me the quattro spyder would look good even today ... I guess
I'm living in the wrong past ... :-)
