Dave,
It is possible to connect a 'delay' unit between the ignition ECU output
and ignition amplifier input. This would however give the same degree of
retard across the full rev/boost band which is not ideal but still the
same as turning the distributor on a 'normal' car.
I wonder why they used crank sensors on the UR for ignition timeing rather
than the hall sensor on the dizz.
I understand what you are saying though it is not easy.
