LAC!! RE: 16' performance tires on new A4

True--but don't get me started on the SUV rant...I mean, here in L.A. you'd 
think it snows Rocky Mtn style, roads are unpaved (actually...), yadda 
yadda.

Funny cuz at work I'm the designated "car guy." So people email or come up 
to me asking for advice.  I give it (my default: Honda Civic, they don't see 
the joke/truism in my suggestion...). Then they give me more criteria.  I 
give another suggestion.  Then they say (7 out of 10), "well I'm thinking of 
a Jeep Cherokee/Explorer/Navigator/Tahoe/Abrams M-1/etc." Then WTF are you 
asking me exactly? "Are they any good?"  Sure.

The clue phone's ringing, and no one's picking up.
