Clutch R&R, 5ktq: How Much?

Well, the original clutch on my sedan is fine - no slipping - but the
throwout bearing just went: horrendous noise and erratic oscillations
through the clutch pedal.  So it's time for a clutch.  Ah, crap...

Work schedule is crazy so I don't have time to do it myself.  What is the
recent going rate ($) for a new clutch on a 5ktq?  Have checked the archives
and the posts are all pretty old.  How many hours does the book say this job
is?  Intend to also have the clutch slave cylinder replaced as well, the
clutch master was replaced only 3 months ago.

Also, should I replace the wonderfully unpredictable alloy clutch pedal
while I'm at it?
