OK,  I do agree that the results would not be exactly like the actual 
xenons, but I just thought that with the setup described you could get the 
look of a xenon(close not exact) and the output that would be better that 
the stock, becuase as I mentioned $279.95 for the HID stuff...... the 
amplifiers/balasters....to boost the output of the bulb. And now you can say 
that the cost instead of $450 could be brought down to $290 as one of the 
listers mentioned the xenon filled halogen bulbs can be had for $10.34. I DO 
AGREE  that the design of the lense and all are contributing factors, and 
that hyperwhite bulbs tend to be less effective than the halogens. But to 
make up for that loss you use the HID kit by CATZ (www.fet-usa.com) which 
may result in better output than regular 55W halogen, while giving that 
"white" look. JUST MY OPINION:-)
