Radiator fan no work - more

I just discovered that one contact of my voltmeter slipped..so there is an
error in my earlier message.  My radiator thermoswitch DOES get 12 volts
power on one wire when the key is on, but no power on any wire when the key
is off.  The wire which has key-on power is red+blue.

Here are the three wires from one side to the other (and of course, the
colors do not match what is shown in the Bentley, big surprise...):
Red/blue, green/red, green
