This is a fairly amazing statement from AoA. The spokeswoman has effectively
stated that their corporate policy is to engineer a car driven by market demand
irregardless of its safety implications.
A friend of mine that runs an Audi place in New Jersey (and does a lot of S4bt
work) says that he has about 10 customers that have had blistering problems.
Unfortunately, Jennifer plays the hand too far, even explaining that Audi placed
a tire on a car that was not meant for 3,700 pounds.
Funny that 540i Sport, Corvettes, and many other cars are in this weight range
with low profile problems -- haven't heard this issue elsewhere. Jennifer may
wish to consider an another career...
Cheers,
