CORVETTE

Thanks very much to all of you who have advised me about buying a
corvette. The vast majority of you seem to think that these cars are
totally reliable with the exception of Dan Nolan who suggested that these
cars can cause problems with 2 rebuilds  possible in 200k miles.
My current situation is that I have a company van which I can use for
private use at no cost so buying an 'ordinary' car is pointless.
As much as I like my Ur I was just considering something else as a change.
Preferably something as much fun and powerfull but with better reliability
and sensible parts prices. (does such a car exist?)
Fuel is expensive in the UK but I will not be doing many miles so I think
I could live with 15 to 20 mpg. But it is important that bad fuel economy
is eased by reliability. 
I have advertised my car free in a local paper which is published
tommorrow  for 5000 gbp which I admit is a little high but I am not in a
rush to sell it, if at all. It will be interesting to see what response I
get.
