To paint or not to paint

Go Paintless.
I had hail damage and a dent from a dropped ladder put into the fender of my 
A4 last year. When I took the car to the body shop to replace a torn bumper 
cover I asked them their opinion. They recommended paintless and I went with 
that. Today the car still looks like new with no ill effects.
