A-pillar Gauge pods on a type 44?

i've also been trying to find a good spot for some gauges. I put the AFR
gauge where the climate control used to be, but I wanted to figure out the
best way to mount 3 gauges - AFR, boost, and oil psi. Pillar pods would be
nice, but I've never seen them for an older Audi. The closest thing I found
was something for Volvo 700/900 series. It sorta looks like it would fit
into the type 44 pillar, at least my 5kT. It's here at:
http://www.teleport.com/~mvprd/current/apillarpod.html

But it might be possible to mount the 3 on the dash just past the climate
control temp sensor vent. Too bad there's no generic pods for flat
surfaces. The pods for the Beetle dash wouldn't work b/c it's too curvy.
All we need is something flat. I just don't wanna have to take anything out
of the dash, b/c I like having conveniences like climate control...
