Was I the only one that was a little irritated at the constant amazement by
the Speedvision crew to the fact that all those midwest 'Muricans knew much,
if anything, about F1? They several times complimented the crowd on their
savvy for things international.
Even Gilles Villenieve stated that F1 would be very difficult to sell in the
US as there are no American drivers. Puleeeese!!
Audi (mandatory content) drivers and most auto enthusiasts nationwide have
followed F1 most of our deprived lives, and darn well know the difference
between an F1 car and a "sisterkissin" IRL entry!
I enjoyed the coverage, and thought it appeared to be a first class event.
Those who attended may shed some light on the real truth.
Good showcase of US to the world, good race, and yes, as a Tifosi, I'm
ecstatic.
F1 back in America! Outstanding!
