true, but there's only .03" difference. whether you're torquing down or
loosening, your still putting the rated torque on the head. Your just
putting torque more on one part of the flats or the other. There are some
metric and english values that are pretty different, but 13mm and 1/2" are
one of the closest. There's really no problem, unless your torquing down a
piece of soft plastic w/ a 1/2" allen wrench. Even some manuals call for
1/2" or 13mm wrench. I don't see any problem or damage resulting from that
at all.
