Injector Seats + Seals

    Hey folks.  I changed the filter on the 80 tonight and decided to give
everything a once over while under the hood.  Something I haven't checked
before is the injector seats.  There are two o-rings on the seats which seal
that to the intake manifold.  I figured that if I pulled gently I'd get
resistance, thus a good seal.  Injector 1 pulled right out without any fuss
what so ever, same with 2.  I stopped there and scratched my head, looked at
the seals on the seats.  Pretty crapped up with what looks like oil residue
or maybe burnt off gas nastiness.  I then looked at the injectors, since I
was there, and saw the ends where bright and shiny, almost new looking.
Should the injector seats pull out like this?  I would think no, but never
dealt with injectors or seals before today.
